in 1998 ,Kavisha collaborated with one of Australia's best loved singer-songwriters Michael Thomas ( ex-Weddings, Parties, Anything)to create " Fisheman's Daughter".The album won the 1998 ARIA award for the best Traditional/Folk/ World music album of the year. One of the album's songs "Big Blue Above" was chosen for Australian t.v series "Seachange " This studio album is upbeat and continues the exploration of world musics inviting in Irish and American folk/country influences as well as Indian and Gypsy.Recently they worked together again co-writing the songs for the A.B.C /Roar Films production of Australian Adventurer Peter Pinney's " Dust On My Shoes" Fisherman's Daughter is distributed by black market music
