La Voce Della Luna
La Voce Della Luna is a grassroots Community choir of approximately 30
women ranging from the ages of 30 years to 80 years old of 1st to 5th
generation Italian/Australian women . We explore old traditional songs
and new material that reflects Italian History in Australia.Whilst we
draw on traditional songs we are not very traditional . In Italy it is
mostly the men who siong in choirs. Women will sing in the church,
and mostly religious songs. We sing a total folk and original
repetoire ranging from the 1500's to the present day.
