The Hawkesbury campus is situated in the suburb of Richmond, in the Hawkesbury Local Government Area. The campus is located on the corner of Bourke Street and Londonderry Road Richmond, main entrance is via Bourke Street.

The closest station to the campus is East Richmond, serviced by the Western line. Trains run approximately every 30 minutes. Please refer to the CityRail website (opens in new window)

The Campus Shuttle bus (opens in new window)
operates on a loop between the Hawkesbury campus, Richmond and East Richmond train stations from Monday 4 January until Friday 23 December 2011. Buses depart from stops approximately every 20 minutes. Hours of operation are during teaching periods 8.00am - 6.30pm, during exam periods 8.00am - 6.30pm and during semester breaks, a reduced service is provided between the hours of 9.00am - 5.00pm. This service is provided at no cost to UWS students, staff and visitors.
Westbus services 677 and 678 operate between Penrith Interchange and Richmond Station, stop at the Corner of Valder Avenue and Southee Road Richmond, approximately a 10 minute walk to the campus.
The Westbus 675 service bus stops are located near the entrance to the campus at the corner of Bourke Street and College Drive, Richmond, an 8-10 minute walk via a shared path to campus.

The walk from East Richmond station to the campus is approximately a 10 minute walk south along Bourke Street. A shared pathway on College Drive provides walking and cycling access to campus and also provides a connection to Hawkesbury TAFE. Please refer to the Hawkesbury TAG (PDF, 474Kb) for directions.
Bicycle lockers (opens in new window)
are located at East Richmond and Richmond Stations.
Bicycle parking is located outside buildings M8, G1, G6, K2, K6, K12, K14, K28, S8, R4 and L9, see Hawkesbury Campus Map (PDF, 207Kb).
The Penrith-Windsor-Blue Mountains (opens in new window)
cycleway map provides options for cycling to the Hawkesbury campus. Routes include shared paths, and on-road cycling facilities.

Cumberland Cabs (Premier Taxis) operate in the Richmond area and can be contacted on 13 10 17. The taxi waiting point is outside the Security Office (Building J9).
Accessible Taxi services, for wheel chair users can be booked through the Zero 200 Taxi Network by calling 02 8332 0200 or TYY (Teletypewriter) booking 02 9020 3315.
Please be aware that parking on campus is limited and parking permits and fees apply. Please refer to Parking at UWS to familiarise yourself with the UWS Traffic and Parking Policy and fees before choosing this travel option.
The entrance to the campus is via the Northern Road and/or Blacktown Road. Please refer to UWS Interactive Maps for directions and travel times.
